With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar L. Wilhoit of Paris, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Wilhoit and Hazel Wilhoit (Maggert); his wife Betty Jean Utterback; his daughter Debbie Miller; and his sisters, Virginia Vaughn, Marjorie Hammond, Nina Dawson, Betty Hewitt and Martha Henderson.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Wilhoit (Julie) of Paris and Paula Elledge (Monty Miller) of Paris; his grandchildren, Johnathan Wilhoit (Ashley Doran) of Paris, Chad Miller of Paris, Brandie Lannery (Andrew) of Paris, Seth Wilhoit of Paris and Kaytlyn Elledge (Ethan Harper) of Marshall; and his great grandchildren, Blade Wilhoit, Kylie Miller, Haylee Perry, Roeyn, Irelynn Lannery, Gunner and Huxley Wilhoit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
