He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmot Anderson and Nancy Jane Anderson (Lane); and his siblings, Louie Anderson, Marguerite Dixon, Mary Kern and Priscilla Corr.

He is survived by: his children, Jane Anderson Clark of Glen Ellyn and Kenneth Anderson (Sarah) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his sisters, Wilma Duckwiler of Canton, Illinois and Lula Anderson of Canton, Illinois; his brother-in-law Lloyd Maggert (Sharon) of Paris; and his nieces and nephews, Thelma Webb of Canton, Marilyn Woody of Houston, Mike Maggert (Libby) of Paris, Cheryl Kahn (Steve) of Westfield, Jamie McDaniel (Christy) of Skipperville and John McDaniel (Lisa) of Charleston, Illinois..
