He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Eugene and Myrtle Marie Evard (Gorman); his former wife Vivian Evard (White); and his sister Jeanna Evard Weaver. He is survived by: his sons, Josh Evard (Brandi) of Paris, Jeremy Evard (Anna) of Paris and Jason Evard of Paris; his grandchildren, Cameron Raney, Alexandria Cundiff (Austin), Makayla Hussong, Leland Evard, Justin Evard, Jurzie Evard, Zephan Evard, Elizabeth Evard and Izabella Evard; his great grandchildren, Zayden Johnson and Colton Cundiff; his sisters, Marcia Elliott-Maldonado and Lisa Camitsch; his sons, Christopher Kelmel (Tina) and Derek Kelmel; his grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer), Laney (T. J.), Karsyn, Nolan, Spencer and Pheonix; and his great grandchild Henry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home (303 E Wood St, Paris, IL 61944). The military honors was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
