He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Morrisey and Gertrude Morrisey; and his brothers, John and Bill Morrisey. He is survived by: his children, James Thomas Morrisey Jr. of Paris, Sheila Keys (Joe) of Paris, Mary Theresa Frisz (Jim) of Paris, Joe Morrisey (Kim) of Kansas, IL and Pat Morrisey (Rachelle) of Jacksonville, IL.; his grandchildren, Chip Keys (Beth) of Paris, Ryan Keys (Hillary Patrick) of Paris, Kelli Keys of Paris, Shelbi Keys Rhoads (Judd) of Paris, Jake Keys (Laurie) of Paris, Katie (Daniel Schopmeyer) of Paris, Callie Keys Cannady (Logan) of Paris, Jamie Punzelt (Greg) of Fishers, IN, Jill Cucinella (Nick) of Robinson, IL, Jackie Owen (Cody) of Evansville, IN, Marissa, Meredithe, Hugar Morrisey of Kansas, IL, Tate and Jett Morrisey of Jacksonville, IL.; his siblings, Mary Crowl and Larry Morrisey; and his siblings-in-law, Kevin Savoree, Mark Savoree and Linda Savoree.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home (303 E Wood St, Paris, IL 61944). A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aloysius (18925 1350 N, Paris, IL 61944).
Family asks that memorial donations be made to Paris JFL and Tri County Lady Titans High School Basketball.
