He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Brinkley and Josephine I. Brinkley (Ashmore). He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle McKibben (Jeff) of Bloomington and Misty Odom (Matt) of Sidney, Illinois; his stepson Koel Connelley of Paris; his sister Teresa Roberts (Gary) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kira Brinkley, Kristin Ingleman (Chance), Kylee Overton (Jaron Woods), Kailyn Overton, Chason Odom and Aubrey Odom; and his great grandchild Saige Ingleman. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
