He is survived by : his mother Maris Gent (Ross) of Paris, Illinois; his children, Kayla Petty (Wade) of Paris and Brianne Cochran (Ethan) of Paris, Illinois; his significant other Jannie Gent of Paris, Illinois; and his brothers, Ross Gent of Charleston, Mike Gent of Jacksonville and Jacob Gent of Everett, Washington..
