She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lugtigheid and Margaret Lugtigheid (Hamstra); and her sister Joan Burger. She is survived by: her son Sean McBride (Cindy) of Paris; her stepson Marshall McBride (Cindy) of Ada, Michigan; her grandchildren, Meagan Brinkerhoff (Andy) of Paris, Becky McBride of Chicago and Matt McBride (Devina) of Belding, Michigan; her great grandchildren, Ella, Vance, Briggs and Emmy Brinkerhoff; and her sibling's children, Bob Burger (Carol), Mike Burger (Jan) and Eva McKee (John).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Templeton Funeral Home - Paris (600 E Court St, Paris, IL 61944). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to an animal rescue organization of the donor's choice, to honor Lana's lifelong love of animals.
