She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shanks and Nettie Shanks (Montz); her spouse W. Dane Elsberry; and her siblings, Michael, James "Bud" Shanks, Betty Wilhoit, Helen Lunger, Maxine Crunkleton, Maria Shanks, Peggy Owens, Joan Drumm and Barbara Kirby.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom Elsberry (Denise) of Paris and Jim Elsberry (Debbie) of Paris; and her grandchildren, Joshua Elsberry (Kaitlyn Breeding) of Paris and Lesley Mills (Josh) of Paris. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
