With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy I. Critchelow of Paris, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Nancy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Snyder and Goldie Snyder (Perry). She is survived by: her daughter Candy Cruse (Jerry) of Decatur, Illinois; her sister Carolyn Jo Humphrey (Don) of Paris; her niece Ginger McCarty of Somerdale; and her grandson Christian Cruse.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Edgar County Animal Shelter.
