With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia A. Myers of Paris, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Patricia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Porter and Madeline Porter (Sawyer); and her husband Robert M. Myers. She is survived by: her brothers, Ernest Porter (Jeanette) of Champaign and Randy Porter (Connie) of Metcalf, Illinois; her stepson Perry Myers (Jan) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her friend Norma Pruiett of Paris. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Metcalf Christian Church (615 Central Ave, Metcalf, IL 61940). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Metcalf Christian Church.
