We bid farewell to Peggy Ann Neal of Paris, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2025 at the age of 72. Peggy Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Aubry Newlin; and her brother Tony. She is survived by: her mother Betty Newlin (Matteson); her husband Larry Neal; her children, Jeremy Neal (Elizabeth) of Chrisman, Illinois, Lori Craig (Steve) of Terre Haute, Indiana, Kimberly Coats (Dallas) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Christopher Neal (Kara Bojko) of Tryon; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Amos, Rachel, Matthew Neal, Roman Craig (Jaimie), Olivia, Samuel, Cooper Coats, Jack, Charlie and Ben Neal; and her great grandchildren, Evalynn and Silas Craig.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home (303 E Wood St, Paris, IL 61944). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at the Hoult Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Peggy's honor to the D.O. It Cancer Group of Edgar County or the Edgar County Diabetes Association.
