He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin Carney and Eloise Carney (Coate); and his wife Glenda. He is survived by: his daughter Ronda Carney of Paris, IL; his grandsons, Scott Potter (Randi) of St Joseph, IL and Andrew Collins (Marta) of Paris, IL.; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Elexis, Gabrielle and Evan; and his cousins, Alice Ann Hathaway, Phillip Coate and Janet Weller.
