She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Smock and Lodema Smock (Kemper); her husband Charles Deem; and her brother Max Smock. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Knapp (Daryl), Jack Deem (Lucy), Janet Yates (Anthony) and Thomas Deem (Chosen Family); her grandchildren, Sean, Michael, Bryan, Alex and Jenifer; and her sister Ruby Staley. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home (303 E Wood St, Paris, IL 61944). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
