With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Jean McClure (Park Forest, Illinois), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sara Jean leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Rosalind Taylor Seale, Peggy Taylor Bailey and Judith Taylor Peebles. She is survived by: her daughter Mena Swanson McClure Eastwood; her son-in-law Charles Eastwood; her grandson Nigel Perez; and her great grandchild Natalie Perez-Williams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lain-Sullivan Funeral Directors (50 Westwood Dr, Park Forest, IL 60466). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
