With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alexander Keith McDowell of Park Ridge, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deanna; his children, Eileen Aldrin (Jason), Tom McDowell (Annie) and Kate Hannigan (Bob); his grandchildren, Grace, Rosie, Alex, John, Sam and May; and his siblings, Lucy Murphy (Bill), Lyle Connor (Rob) and Abby McDowell (late Hulby Koppelmann). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Keith's name to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Center for Kawasaki Disease (https://www.luriechildrens.org) would be appreciated.
