Bishop Jaroslaw Rafalko Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2023, at the age of 68, Bishop Jaroslaw Rafalko of Park Ridge, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Rafalko and Jan Rafalko; his sister Janina Serwin (Stanislaw); and his father-in-law Stefan Czaban. He is survived by: his spouse Leslie'Wieslawa'; his sibling Elzbieta Wasilewski (Jozef); his nieces and nephews, Anna Dym (Dominik), Artur (Cortney Johnson), Piotr Gryko (Wioletta), Michal Gryko (Iwona) and Grzegorz Gryko (Beata); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aleksander Dym, Damian Johnson Wasilewski and Piotr Gryko; his mother-in-law Eugenia; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Czaban and Alicja Gryko (Mikolaj).
In lieu of flowers, donations will be used to benefit a future scholarship in the Bishop's name or a donation to the Youth Fund of the Polish National Catholic Church would be appreciated.
