Carol Ann will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Carol Ann by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Carol Ann is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Carol Ann’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frieda Ewerts (Goodyear) and Charles Ewerts. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy; her son Lee; her daughter-in-law Jacqueline; and her grandchildren, Charlie and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (820 W Talcott Rd, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul of the Cross Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
