With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles L. Schutz of Park Ridge, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Doris Malapanes, Harold Schutz and Adam Schutz Jr.; and his parents, Adam Schutz and Marie Schutz.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Charlene Schutz Kadlec and Thomas Schutz; his granddaughters, Cynthia Bethscheider (Thomas) and Laura Kadlec; and his great grandchild Andrew Bethscheider.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ryan-Parke Funeral Home (120 S NW Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Paul of the Cross Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
