David T. Arena Obituary
We announce the death of David T. Arena (Park Ridge, Illinois), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 58. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Giovanni and Mary Arena; his uncle Salvatore Arena; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel J. Morlock and David C. Morlock.
He is survived by: his son Nathan Daniel (Kyle); his wife Bridget Arena; his parents, Antonetta Arena and J. Paul Arena; his stepmother Dorothy Arena; his siblings, Paul Arena (Gigi), John Arena (Jill), Marc Arena (Christy), Tom Arena (Jessie) and Sandi Fisher (Mike); his stepsister Michele Hayes (Aaron); and his children, Erica Arena (Luca Grey), Jonathan (Jamie), Joseph Arena, Jennifer Arena, Ella (Jacob), Woods (Laney Mae), Liam Arena, Gavin Arena, Gabriel Arena, Jaques Mitchell (William), James (Candace), Mitchell (Mason), Jordan Mitchell, Daniel Morlock, Cabrerra (Aiden), Spencer Troline, Calista Morlock, Payton Morlock, Sophia Pielet, Gianna Pielet, Anastasia Abbasi, Simone Abbasi, Elise Abbasi and Jaqueline Abbasi. He is also survived by twenty-three loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (820 W Talcott Rd, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
