She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burke and Rose Burke; her husband Robert Fortune; her daughter Joan Melby (late Guy); her grandchild Darcy Melby; her sisters, Rosemarie Burke, Emily MacLennan (late Mac), Mary Allen (late Jack) and Joan Dale (late Jim); and her nephew Brian Allen (Cathy).

She is survived by: her children, Jill O'Malley (John), Christopher (Sara), Robert A. Jr. (Elizabeth), Peter (Patricia) and Thomas Fortune; her grandchildren, Ryan (Cathy), Ashley (Jonathon), Kevin (Jessica), Tyler Melby (Kathleen), Tara, Colin O'Malley (Emily), Heather Fortune (Matt), Hamilton, Kelly Boettcher (Mike), Emma Cowling (Conner), Wiley Fortune, Rosemarie, Grace, Molly, Kathleen, Margaret, Michael, Amanda and Matthew Fortune; her great grandchildren, Riley, Alex, Caitlyn, Kevin Melby, Braden, Christopher, Paul Fortune, Hamilton, Olive, Cardiff, Henry, Clayton Boettcher, Odette, Goldie, Rowan Cowling and Maya O'Malley; her nephew Bill Libby (Marcia); and her nieces, Janice Libby and Mary Rose (late Donald).
