He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Christianson (Meegan); his son Reverend Gerard Christianson; his parents, Elmer Christianson and Susan Christianson (Vonderharr); and his siblings, John, Mathilda "Tillie" Reichle, Frances Boyd, Norbert, Anna "Betty" Fortin, Gerald "Jerry", Ambrose "Ambi", Delores "Dee" Nye and Fond.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Bissell (Phillip), Meegan Gibbons (Timothy), Edward Jr. (Beth), Jennifer Rios (Francisco) and Kathleen; his grandchildren, Anthony Christianson of Erin, TJ, Sean, Anne Gibbons, Margaret, Patrick Christianson, Christian (Ashley), Andrew (Ashley) and Frankie Rios; and his great grandchild Laurel Margaret Rios.
