He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin F. Krist and Marion (Hickey). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Krist (Holleran); his daughters, Deirdre Leo (Anthony) and Erin Davis (Stuart); his grandchildren, Owen, Nathan and Maeve; and his brother Robert Krist (Lily).

Kevin's career as a research scientist spanned over 40 years and he made many significant contributions to the advancement of renewable energy and fuel cell technology.
