He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bertha Philipps; his daughters, Connie Anderson (Bill), Pauline Philipps-Zabel (Kurt), Kathy Giannakopoulos (Dimitrios) and Angela Philipps; his parents, Yannis Papaphilippou and Kostantina Papaphilippou; his grandson Peter Giannakopoulos (Eleni); his siblings, Panos Papaphilippou (Pitsa), Katerina Anargiros (Nikos) and Chris Papaphilippou; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Korbos (late Peter), Collette Sarlas (late Aristotle), Art Karamagianis (Irene), Catherine Kyriaz (Evan) and Gust Karamagianis.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Huntington's Disease Society of America Illinois Chapter P.O. Box 1454, Lake Villa, IL 60046 would be appreciated.
