She was predeceased by: her parents, Kazimierz Komosa and Jadwiga Popiełuszko. She is survived by: her husband Andrew Gil; her children, Elizabeth Plummer (Adam), Bernadette Knight (Lacy) and Peter Gil (Michaelene); and her siblings, Czesław Komosa, Janina Naumowicz and Lucyna Magiera.
