As Irene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Irene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph T. Loving; her son John; and her siblings, John Shanahan (late Geri), Cecilia O'Brien (late Robert), Joseph (Kay), Daniel, Margaret and Michael Shanahan (Ruth).
She is survived by: her children, Marianne and Thomas (Agata); and her granddaughter Kathleen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
