He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Briody and Mary Briody. He is survived by: his son Matthew Briody (Luisa Briody); his sisters, Maria Rivkin (Carl), Brigid Turner (James), Agnes Izzi (Michael) and Martha Connery (Raph); his nieces, Roxanne Turner (Kyle Kiemle), Shaina Larson (Patrick), Ailsa Connery-Murray (James) and Rayna Connery (Owen Tighe); and his great-nephew Rhys Connery-Murray.
