He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Geraghty and Donna Geraghty; his parents-in-law, Edward and Irene O'Shea; and his sister-in-law Sheila O'Shea.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Daniel Geraghty (Lauren), Kelly Sebby (PJ) and Timothy Geraghty; his grandchildren, Makenzie, Fiona Sebby and Emma; his siblings, Colleen Lowery (Michael), Daniel Geraghty (Diane), Mary Geraghty, Patrick Geraghty (Kathleen), Eileen Brassil, Kathleen McGrath (Nigel) and Thomas Geraghty (late Alesa); and his siblings-in-law, Patrica Manor (Dean), Sharon O'Shea, Maureen Hillmann (Robert), Kevin O'Shea (Debra), Timothy O'Shea (Jennifer) and Patrick Brassil.
