He was predeceased by: his wife Della; and his siblings, George and Therese. He is survived by: his partner Terry Ward; his children, Cary Doherty (Brian), Craig (Robyn) and Brian Rutherford (Amy); his grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Mary Doherty, Charlie, Thomas, Madelyn, Emily Rutherford, Jaxson, Aiden and Wyatt Rutherford; and his sisters, Maureen Belloumini and Peggy Patis. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
