She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet Higgins and Marie Higgins; and her husband Thomas Bertsch. She is survived by: her brothers, James Higgins and Charles Higgins; her children, Virginia, Paula, Jane, Joan, Maryanne Shaw (Craig) and Thomas Bertsch (Linda); and her grandchildren, Kyle, Colin, Daniel, Christine, Kathleen, Bryant and Pam. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
