He was predeceased by: his parents, William Maurer and Elizabeth Maurer; and his sister Janet Maurer McGivern. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Tim; his nephew Brian; his wife Sophie; Alicia, Nell and Jack.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ryan-Parke Funeral Home (120 S NW Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Noon. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Saint Paul of the Cross Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
