She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John F.; her children, Michael Barrett (Joy), Eileen Hellstrom (late Guy), Kathleen Donohoe (John), Mary Dowd (Edward) and Patricia Burke (Daniel); her grandchildren, Julie Klingel, Daniel Barrett, Maureen Unger, Bridget Hansen, Matthew Hellstrom, Sarah Robinson, Mary Clare Donohoe, Brian Dowd, Lauren Wunder, Christine Dowd, Kevin Dowd, Katherine, Jack and Michael Burke; her great grandchildren, Nora, Owen Klingel, Liam, Theo Hellstrom, Aila Barrett, Lewis Unger, Todd Jr. Hansen and Grace Robinson; and her siblings, Peter Smith (Patricia) and Eileen Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (7211 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631).
