She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Schergen and Mary Schergen; her husband Michael J. McKay Jr.; her sons, Michael J. McKay III and Kevin C. McKay; her daughter-in-law Cindy L. McKay; and her granddaughter Jessica H. McKay.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis McKay of Park Ridge, IL, Mary Patricia McKay (Alan Hall) of East Dundee, IL, Timothy McKay of Chicago, IL. and Colleen Langner (Dan) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Kevin C. McKay II, Brittany McKay, Kaitlin McKay, Scott McKay, Megan McKay, Daniel McKay, Michael McKay, Jack Langner, Corey Langner, Ryan Langner, Rebecca Cortino and Krista Cortino; and her great grandchildren, Skylar McKay and Payton McKay.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care, which can be performed online at http://www.rainbowhospice.org.
