As Patrick departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patrick leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gill and Evelyn Gill. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gill; his children, Bryan, Shannan, Kelly, Patrick, Matthew and Katelin; and his brother Thomas Gill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ryan-Parke Funeral Home (120 S NW Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Paul the Cross Church (320 S Washington St, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
