“Dear family and friends of Pat. I never met any of you but I was very close to Pat in the last few years of his life. We lived together for over a year In Chicago. He would always write 1382 on everything. Would drive me nuts. It was some numbers that meant something to him and his father. I have a basketball in front of me right now where I'm reading where he wrote 1382 on it. I never met someone who knew as much about sports than he did. He could've been a sports announcer. RIP MY GOOD FRIEND.”
