Richard W. Ciesla Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard W. Ciesla of Park Ridge, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ciesla and Josephine Ciesla (Wegrzyn); his grandson James; and his siblings-in-law, Christine Buker (late Donald), Bernadine Heim (Thomas), Andrew Bronny (Mary), Christopher Bronny (Mary Ellen) and Mary Kay Bronny (Meyer).

He is survived by: his wife Maria Bronny; his children, Elizabeth Hodgson (Douglas), Gregory Ciesla (Sara), Mark Ciesla (Julie) and Alexandra Cornwell (Curtis); his grandchildren, Madeleine (Austin Knoblauch), Caroline Hodgson, Maeve, Charles Ciesla, Isabella, Thomas Ciesla, Henry, Wyatt and Valerie Cornwell; and his family Rich of Chicago's Polish-American. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
