He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Richard Allyn and Joby Genson; and his close friend Tim Johnson. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Genson and Terri Genson (Allyn); his uncle Jon Genson; his wife Melissa Genson of Park Ridge; his sons, Landon Bennett Genson of Park Ridge, Jameson Aaron Genson of Park Ridge and Nolan Andrew Genson of Park Ridge; his brothers, Aaron (Laura Genson) and Master Sergeant Andrew (Michelle Genson); his brother-in-law Andrew Gaug of Kansas City, MO; his grandmothers, Patricia Allyn and Norma Genson; his nieces and nephews, Aurora Genson, Nellie Genson, Jacob Genson and Bennett Genson; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Lynda Gaug of Long Island, NY. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be made to fund his children's education.
