He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcella "Sally" Fortener and Melvin "Bud" Fortener; his wife Eileen Fortener; and his brother James Fortener. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Fortener (Alisha) and Michelle Ready (Josh); his grandchildren, Holly Fortener (Mike), Zackery Fortener, Ethan Fortener (Kayla), Sean Ready McMahon, Joseph Ready and Ryan Ready; his great grandchild Elliana Eileen Fortener; and his nephews, Michael Fortener (Mandy) and Steven Fortener (Jennifer).
