He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diana; his children, Tom (late Gray), Dave (Becky), Jerry (Kelly), Larry (Mary), Julie Wolf (Dave) and John Gust (CarolAnn Grossmann); his grandchildren, Matthew Gust (Nicole), Andrew Gust (Ashley), Kylie Gust, Patrick, Nick Gust, Caroline Bedell (David), Sara Gerger (Micah), Larry Gust, Amie Kerrigan (Kevin), Stacie Krevet (Mike) and Christopher Gust; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Emmitt Gerger and Eleanor Kerrigan; and his extended family Jet Gust.
