He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Lazara; his parents, Anna LaZara and Giuseppe LaZara; and his siblings, Anna, Pasquale and Stefano.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph LaZara (Diane) and Dominic Lazara (Shannon Heilman); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Katrina LaZara, Andrew and Aaron Lazara.
