He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sara Jane Thein; his children, Christine T. Girard (Paul), Julie Nold (Greg), Thomas Thein (Jennifer O'Malley) and Timothy Thein (Courtney Maloney); his grandchildren, Alexander, Kate, Molly Girard, Sofia, Isabel Nold, Peter, Joe, Tricia, Maggie Thein, Abagail, Kellan, Patrick and Christian Thein; his sibling's children, John, Lisa, Nick Precilio (Joan) and Gabrielle Thon (Jim); and his parents, Oliver J. Thein and Phoebe Heroux.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the The Terraces at Bonita Springs (26455 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134).
