He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Berger and Eugenia Fowell-Berger; and his brother Robert Barthelme (LaVerne). He is survived by: his wife Harriett "Jan" Cowart; his sister Maria Seibert (late Peter); his children, Sharon Weborg (Clement) and William "Billy" Berger (Caroline); his grandchildren, Adam (Carmen), Cody, Shelby, Nicholas and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Amanii, Nicko, Ajai, Ava, Knox and Isabella.
