He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Irene Starkowski; his children, Anna Stanielun (Mark) and John Starkowski (Jola); and his grandchildren, Joanna, Margaret, Matthew Stanielun, Maximilian, Beata and Peter Starkowski.

Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. the family asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Polish Museum of America, Chicago, http://www.polishmuseumofamerica.org.
