He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hill and Rita Hill (Schaffnit); and his brothers, Halden and Max Hill. He is survived by: his wife Lois Hill; his children, Lynn Hyde (Blake) of Patoka, Cheryl Quick (Steven) of Shattuc and Craig Hill (Kim) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Laurie Ward (Levi), Chase Hyde (Kenda), Blaine Hyde (Erica), Shelby Eddy (Joey), Melissa Hill and Max Hill; his great grandchildren, Bryton, Thatcher, Hunter, Nolan, Grant, Peyton, Henley and Brett; and his sister Mildred Gray of Shelbyville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Memorials may be made in Bill's honor to Patoka Fire and Ambulance, Patoka United Methodist Church, Patoka Christian Church or the Patoka American Legion.
