William Dean Edwards Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2025 we had to say goodbye to William Dean Edwards of Patoka, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Edwards and Wilma Edwards (Vogt); and his sister-in-law Pam Oberlink. He is survived by: his significant other Cheryl Edwards of Patoka; his sons, Michael "Mike" Edwards (Marta) of Vandalia, Ryan Edwards (Jennie) of Odin and Josh Edwards (Nikki) of Sandoval; his grandchildren, Annabell, Alexia, Wyatt, Zoey and Joey; his sister Kathy Criner (Jason) of Patoka; his parents-in-law, Danny and Barbara Oberlink of Vandalia; and his brother-in-law Kevin Oberlink of Vandalia. He is also survived by niece, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Patoka First Baptist Church (209 N Oak St, Patoka, IL 62875). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Pratt Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bill's honor to Patoka Fire Department or Pratt Cemetery and will be accepted for the family at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka.
