She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert L. Tuxhorn and Opal E. Miller Tuxhorn; her husband Bill; her son Theodore; and her siblings, Leo Tuxhorn and Rose Marie Bannister.

She is survived by : her daughter Danna D. Abner of Springfield; her grandson Aaron C. Abner (Kendra) of Mount Zion; her brother-in-law Gary A. Sandidge (Carolyn) of Pawnee; and her niece Cinthia Hogan of Colorado.
