We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2024, at the age of 86, Cecil E. Bowen Jr. of Pawnee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil E. Bowen Sr. and Lula H. Brewer Bowen; his son Jeffrey W. Bowen; and his siblings, James Bowen, Elizabeth Mae "Sue" Gilmore, Edith M. "Monnie" Deavult and Shirley I. Gilbert.

He is survived by : his wife Jackie Bowen of Pawnee; his sons, Edward L. Bowen of Springfield and Timothy A. Bowen of Pawnee; and his siblings, Walter O. Bowen (Susan) of Bakersfield, California and Carolyn Alspaugh (Jack) of Pawnee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
