With solemn reverence, we commemorate David L. Jones of Pawnee, Illinois, whose life came to an end on July 15, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ron Jones; his son Blake; and the father of his child Ron. He is survived by: his mother Laura Jones of Decatur, IL; his wife Sharon Allison; his son Bryce (Ashleigh); his granddaughter Emma Jones of O'Fallon, MO; his siblings, Jeff (Karen) of Lindenhurst, IL, Dan of Decatur, IL and Lori Harmon (Mike) of Overland Park, KS; and his pet Libby. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home-Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church (1020 N Milton Ave, Springfield, IL 62702).
