She was predeceased by: her parents, Emir S. Humphrey and Ethel M. Clingman Humphrey; her husband Melvin W. Smith Jr.; and her brothers, Glenn, Heskett and Bruce Humphrey.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Smith (Kris) of Holts Summit, Rod Smith (Nancy) of Holts Summit, Doug Smith of Hannibal, Mark Smith of Pawnee and Ken Smith of Pawnee; and her brother Ralph Humphrey of New Franklin, Missouri. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (118 Co Rd 450, New Franklin, MO 65274).
