He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph O. Megginson and Leila M. Boblitt Megginson; his step-mother Mary Megginson; and his son Rand L. Megginson. He is survived by : his wife Vicki Fine; his children, Todd N. Megginson (Aubrie) of Pawnee, Arrow S. Megginson (Stephanie Lynn) of Phoenix and Caitlin M. Dicken (Josef) of Champaign; his step-sons, James Dorner of Champaign and David Dorner (Karen) of Elmhurst; his grandson Kylan Dorner of Champaign; and his siblings, Carole Christner of Orlando, Florida and Mike W. Megginson (Sandy) of Bonita Springs, Florida. He is also survived by several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 19th 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 20th 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pawnee United Methodist Church (402 6th St, Pawnee, IL 62558). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 20th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
