She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Edward Bowen Sr. and Lula "Hazel" Duncan Brewer; her son Anthony "Tony" Gilbert; and her siblings, Elizabeth Mae "Sue" Gilmore, Edith Maurine "Monnie" Deavult and James William Bowen.
She is survived by : her former life partner Francis Marion Gilbert Jr.; her children, Mary Jo Bressan (Mark) of Sherman, Veronica Davis of Pawnee, Charlotte Gilbert of Pawnee, Francis Marion Gilbert Jr. (Therese) of Walnut Shade and Alex Gilbert (Sandra Blackwood) of Galena, Missouri; and her siblings, Cecil Bowen Jr. (Jackie) of Pawnee, Walter Bowen (Susan) of Bakersfield, California and Carolyn Alspaugh (Jack) of Pawnee. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
